About Dr. Cordell Nwokeji
Cordell O. Nwokeji (pronounced “wokage”) was born in Austin, Texas. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology at Colgate University, Hamilton, New York. He obtained his medical doctorate at Howard University College of Medicine, Washington, DC. His internship in General Surgery was at Morristown Memorial Hospital, New Jersey. The rest of his General Surgery training was at Howard University Hospital. His urology residency was at Southern Illinois University, Springfield, Illinois.

Dr Nwokeji went into urology because of a sincere interest in helping and making a difference regarding male and female urinary tract abnormalities and male sexual reproductive tract disorders.

Dr Nwokeji’s hobbies include spending time with his family, exercising, weightlifting, soccer, ping-pong, basketball, and reading.

Dr. Nwokeji is married to Amelia Shelby-Nwokeji, a Family Practice Physician. They have three children and live in a Houston suburb.
